AuditoriumLET'S CELEBRATE SCIENCE!
The TU/e Research Day on June 13, is a festive event that celebrates science, to be held at the Auditorium. The theme of this year is “Shaping the Future”.
On Tuesday June 11, we kick off with Talking Science: the TU/e science pitching competition for PhD's and EngD's.
The Research Day on June 13 starts with an inspiring interactive keynote titled "Shaping the Future with AI." This captivating hour under supervision of Carlo van de Weijer is dedicated to showcasing the groundbreaking AI research happening right here at our university and celebrating EAISI’s fifth anniversary. In the morning, EAISI celebrates this with the EAISI AI jubilee symposium. Find more information and sign up for this symposium.
In the afternoon, you can immerse yourself in the wonders of our Research Expo in the Auditorium. Our esteemed research institutes will unveil their latest discoveries and innovations.
The final part of the event is the academic ceremony, where Prof. dr. Karen Scrivener (EPFL) and Dr. h.c. Martin van den Brink (ASML), our two honorary doctorates, will give a short presentation followed by the decoration ceremony.
We will close the ceremony with the TU/e Science Awards. Who is our best young researcher, ground-breaking researcher, and who wins the leadership in excellence award? Who has written the best PhD and EngD thesis? The winner of Talking Science will join us with its pitch on stage. Come and show your support for your colleagues!
