RESEARCH PROFILE

Stein Stoter is an assistant professor at the Power & Flow research group of the Mechanical Engineering department. His research focuses on computational fluid mechanics with a particular focus on turbulence modeling, and on finite element analysis in general.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Before becoming an assistant professor at the Eindhoven University of Technology in early 2023, Stein Stoter held positions as a postdoctoral researcher at both the TU/e (for approximately 1 year) and the Leibniz Universität Hannover (for approximately 2 years). Prior to these roles, he obtained his PhD in computational mechanics from the University of Minnesota, following his completion of a master's degree in Mathematics at the University of Minnesota and a master's degree in Aerospace Engineering at Delft University of Technology.
